My toddler and baby love AudioSurf. I play it less as a “game” and more as a toy; a visual rollercoaster for my favorite music. My toddler loves World of Goo. That she can have fun with it speaks well to the design. I love games I can share with my children.

I never did play Oddworld… but perhaps I should keep my eye out for that sort of sale again. I’ve heard great things about the game.

I’m definitely liking the sales that Steam offers. I’m careful to only buy games that I don’t mind not being to resell, though, which is the one sticking point I have with Steam. I really have been meaning to check out Good Old Games, too; the Interplay library is largely present. Now, if they can dig up the MicroProse catalog and StarControl 2, I’ll be happy.

I also just purchased TWO Oddworld games for a grand total of 3 dollars or something crazy like that.

I don’t even know if I’ll play them, but man do I miss Oddworld. It feels comforting to know that they’re on my computer.

I also purchased those games over the last two weeks. World of Goo is awesome, but I’m not so sure about Audio surf. It seems a bit like F-Zero meets Tetris, which I guess is cool, but not really my cup of tea. Both games are well designed, and since I purchased them at a discounted rate, I’d say they are excellent value for money

I love Steam. I think I’m addicted!
