OK, I’m still not really a fan of zombies, previous discussions notwithstanding. That said, I’ve been prowling the archives of a webcomic that a coworker does in his spare time, and this one made me laugh.

Hah! I started you on the path of Zombie Love, and it is starting to rub off! *uses hypnotic gestures*.. your game design doc… will be… a zombie… MMO…..
*raises arms in air and emulates Thriller*
Must… write… Zombie… MMO…
Actually, I’ve wound up describing zombie-like critters when I dig around in my Steampunk design docs. There’s just something interesting about “Technomancy” to me, and a cold, impersonal approach to scientific research of living (or recently living) beings and machinery naturally winds up generating zombieish constructs at some point…
Glad you guys like the comic! Shawn and Isaac are funny guys, but I had no idea they made a webcomic, despite working with them for a couple of years. Go figure.
Very simple comic. I like it!
Two inspiring comics I’d clipped and had on my fridge for a long time were also very simple, with no dialog.
The first was from Get Fuzzy, and featured Satchel opening a bottle of soda. Noticing something inside the lid, with the curiosity clearly evident on his face, he took a closer look.
The next frame zoomed in to show the inside of a typical “Instant Win” soda bottle lid, with the simple message “You are not a winner.”
The final frame showed a saddened Satchel, crushed by the hidden meaning of the cap’s simple message.
The second comic I clipped from the LA Weekly (a local Indy rag) and showed a Clown leaning down to blow out a candle, the flame of which possessed eyes. Twas clearly a sentient candle.
With a huge puff from the Clown the flame bent backwards, but didn’t go out, and the third frame showed the indignant candle retaliating by blowing a fiery breath into the Clown’s face.
The fourth frame featured the panic-stricken Clown, now with a Ghostrider-type flaming skull, running around as the candle looked on, now with a very smug expression on its face…flame
