I’m not really much of a Halloween sort of guy. What little I do for Halloween is indulge my kids’ interest and get candy cheap once the holiday is over. I’ll even hand out candy to the little thugs that stop by if I’m in a good mood.
(OK, I’ve been having great fun with Halloween events in Wizard 101 and Puzzle Pirates, but that’s sort of… not normal. When I tell neighbors I work on games, I get the standard blank stare and a “that’s nice” when they are actually trying to find a way to discreetly run away and tell their kids to avoid me.)
Anyway, things worked out this year. I didn’t need to find a role to play for Halloween this year, Ixobelle did it for me:
Mwahahaha!
(Is it terrible that I can actually identify with the “grieving mad doctor” character?)
Believe me, you’re not alone. I’ve never been accustomed to Halloween, so the tradition is lost on me. I’ll probably watch a good horror movie or something
Happy Halloween!
We don’t really celebrate Halloween much here but I did see some kids wander around last night trick or treating and one of them was dressed at Sponge Bob Square Pants. Made me chuckle
It could be worse, Ixobelle could be working on a JRPG and named a character Tesheroth. I’ll take a grieving mad doctor over an emo-long haired pretty boy any day. Glad you had a happy halloween.

My little girl loved the Trick-or-Treating, so as far as I’m concerned, the holiday was a success. The M&Ms I got at half price this morning are icing on the cake.
I’m actually terribly flattered to be in Ixo’s work. Sure, it’s good clean fun, and likely not going to make me royalty money, but hey, I’ll take a hat tip from a friend in public happily any day.
