This is Tish, Tosh and Tesh, my Gibberling Psionicists in Allods Online. They champion justice on the Nezeb server, League side.
If you happen to spot them, don’t be alarmed if they happen to be spouting gibberish; it might be my kids playing with the keyboard again.
See you around!

That must have been the easiest race/name decision in an MMO ever, most splendid!
I haven’t taken a look at the game yet, but the Gibberlings have to be one of the neatest ideas for an MMO race in a long time. Nice naming, too.
My feelings can only be described in common internet lingo: ROFLMAO!
Wow, that is simply too cute to compute.
Gibberlings were the reason why I tried out the closed beta a few months back. Awesome idea for a race.
For something that doesn’t change the way you play the game much (choice of race is largely a cosmetic decision, with a minor “racial” class ability), Gibberlings are surprisingly interesting and fun to play. I’ve sure enjoyed them.
It’s curious that something that is 99% cosmetic can change the way the game feels. I do the exact same things playing as my Arisen Psionicist (SilverPsion, a tech-based Undead sort of character with odd Egyptian/Russian flavor), but playing as the Gibberlings just feels different.
It’s also curious to me that I can feel more immersion in the game and connection to the characters when they are so obviously *not* a representation of me in the game. It’s just the way I approach these games; I’m in it to play a role in that world and explore it through the eyes of one (or three) of its denizens, not impose *myself* in the game world.
The Gibberlings are appealing largely because they *aren’t* me, and I have to accept them for what they are. I can then go on to accept the world on its own terms a bit easier because I’m not trying as hard to impose my real world expectations on it. I’m sure there are interesting undercurrents about race and prejudice in that line of thought.
…and yes, the naming was way too easy and fun; I couldn’t resist.
Their names are excellent !
I remember a Dungeons & Dragon P&P session where my gnome mage was named Abra, had a sorcerer brother named Dabra, and an Half orc Half brother (long story) named Ka.
I would so play Gibberlings in Allods. That’s perhaps the only thing currently interesting me in the game
.
I have a suspicious that you are, in fact, 3 gibberlings in real life… am I right?
I can neither confirm nor deny the existence of Gibberlings in my household.
I suppose with any humanoid character who doesn’t seem to have any motives and is entirely under your control, to transpose your own motives onto it. While a gibberling gives more resistance to that and becomes more their own being(s).
